Alfons Rodríguez - The Melting Age

March 18 – April 16, 2025

During the last 30 years, Alfons Rodríguez has been travelling across more than 120 countries, reporting from Iraq conflict, North Korea, Jaffna war, the Potosi Mines, San Pedro Penitenciary or Choquequirao Citadel. Other works covered leprosy, an intense gaze into the bowels of Mumbai, the war in DR Congo, the social truth in South Africa and the genocide of Srebrenica in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

His latest project, The Melting Age, it’s focused on the global climate crisis, and goes through more than 30 countries from seven continents.

His topics are mainly based in documentary and social ranges. Anthropology and archeologicals expeditions are among the stories he wants to tell too. Alfons sees his work as the way to live and a true spiritual exercise. Photography became the tool to express in a tangible way his gaze and his perception of existence.

Samuel Oladele

Samuel Oladele’s life journey has taken him from Ilorin, Nigeria to the UK, shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a passion for creative expression. He discovered photography in 2020 and fell in love with art photography, leading him to explore African culture and spirituality. His work showcases the beauty and complexity of African culture, challenging stereotypes and promoting cross-cultural dialogue. Through his photography, he hopes to inspire a deeper appreciation and understanding of African spirituality and promote self-discovery.
